Sheri took "the boy's" to Walmart to get a few things. Now that "Al" is not stable enough to walk any real distance,  Sheri has adjusted her shopping style so that she can use the wheelchair with the basket attached, this gives her limited room for grocery's but works as a great "get only what you really need right now"  tool (see ... always a bright side lol). Anyway she has been doing this for quite some time but this time "Al" just could not figure out how to sit down. Sheri found herself trying to help Bob bend at the waist but "Al" just could not figure it out. Sheri looked around and realized they were blocking access to all the carts and was growing more and more frustrated. A nice man saw her struggle and tried to help... 15 minutes later they had "the boys" in the wheelchair, but  Sheri was too exhausted to get much shopping done.  Heavy sigh..... :(

Sheri was trying to get Bob to take his medicine. "Al" decided however that the capsule Bob takes is a crayon and insisted upon attempting to draw with it. Heavy sigh....

Sheri really has no words for this video, only to say that this song was a song chosen many years ago by Daughter number 1 to dance with her Father to at her wedding, long before "Al" had moved in. It was one of Bob's favorite. The video speaks for itself.  God is Good.  Turn your speakers on. Please watch till the end it is about 3 minutes long.

Sheri had an a..ha moment yesterday , and a true Thanksgiving blessing. A peek at who Bob is under "Al". "Al" has been hoarding poker chips from "work" (code for Adult Day Center). Sheri though it was just another "pretty thing", so she bought him some and gave them to him yesterday. "Al" was very excited and immediately went into hoarding mode. Stuffing them in every possible place. Sheri was taping because he started singing, God had a different plan for a memory for her. This was early in the day before the "behaviors" set in.Watch this video and listen carefully... it became clear why "Al" is hoarding poker chips for Bob. Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri was driving Bob home from "work" (code for Adult Day Center ) yesterday. It is the same route they have taken for the 5 years he has been "working" there. The route happens to go past their family church Cross of Glory. "Al" with his thumb in Bob's belt loop stretching out Bob's back in his usual way says "Look at that, Cross of Glory...they must have moved it." She paused a moment and then just nodded in agreement and said "Yep.. I guess they did" :)

Wow one whole night without "the boys" waking up that is a blessing. Now if she can retrain herself not to wake up to see if "they" are up or still breathing :)

"Al" kept asking Sheri in the early afternoon, if it was time to go home. He was concerned some one was going to steal his nuts and bolts and was frustrated that no one was helping . "Al" was asking where everyone else was, and if she had finished her nuts and bolts. Which was followed by "if you haven't you can help me with mine, or I am never gonna get this done. "  :)

Sheri needs some camera time desperately. She hopes with the weather being nice this weekend, maybe she can sneak in a few shots. "Al" has not been walking to great as of late, He has been making Bob dizzy and weak at the knees. Darn that "Al" :(
