This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al
Sheri wants to thank her cyber friend "Storykeeper" for giving her the "The Versatile Blogger" award. Sheri is humbled when she realizes someone out there is reading and listening, or that someone might actually be inspired by her journey with Bob and "Al". This blog helps Sheri capture life one day at a time, and it has become an introduction, a handshake and hug to her new found Alzheimer family and friends. Thank you for praying "Storykeeper", and for the award. :)

You are doing a great job. It is a difficult walk. My Mom lived with me for 10 years. I still miss her.
