This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

If Sheri had her way she would be out and about at the crack of dawn and would park herself outside in the woods or a park with her camera right as the sun came up and try to capture all the glory that God and nature provides. That can't happen with Bob and "Al", it is a several hour process to get them up and functioning every morning. So Sheri trys to capture all that beauty through her bedroom window, and sometimes she gets lucky, the water drop from the rain fell at the perfect time. Just a good reminder that God's timing is perfect:)
