This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri is tired with nothing to share, all the balls just keeping falling right out of the air.

  1. Thinking of you. I too feel overwhelmed at times but laughter seems to help. My husband can still laugh at himself, and I cry behind his back. We put my car in the shop this week and he told them to call me. ME! I've always gone to him for decisions. One more thing that's now mine to handle.

  2. Sheri, judging by your last few posts it seems you are noticing so many changes happening lately...please know that my heart goes out to you and Bob and that I keep you both in my prayers.
