This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri had the opportunity to have lunch with a beautiful lady on Friday. A very sweet lady that is the mother of a young woman Sheri worked with  many years ago, someone she always felt close to. This sweet lady ( the mother) has had her own "Al" for many years too. It was a blessing to spend time together and talk about things that are hard to talk about with someone who has not walked our walk. God gives us people in our past because He knew back then we would need each other in our future. God is good.
