No party here on New Years Eve. Sheri, Bob, and "Al" will retire early as usual. Sheri is not disappointed about that though. She will look back on 2014 and be grateful for all her blessings, thankful for her family, content with what she has, and she will try to remember to live in the moment, that is all that is promised in this life anyway. Then she will try her hardest to pause, praise and pray.
Please have a safe and Happy New Year!
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.
