This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"
Sheri is amazed at what God can do. If you remember Sheri stopped looking for a new place to live, and decided she would just have to deal with the loss of a chunk of the front yard, of this already tiny house she rented, and put up with the 2 year construction project in front of the house which would bring the sidewalk practically to her front door. Finding suitable living space she could afford was just not happening. Well she signed a new lease and when she sent it back by email, she received an email back stating that the owner of the house got a letter from the county stating that the easement that was taking the yard was no longer necessary! If Sheri has learned one thing, it is that there are no coincidences in life. Sheri only thought she was making the decision to stay put.God knows what you need, when you need it, and provides it. God is good. all the time. :)
