This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri woke this morning with an unusual amount of anxiety. She knows this has no purpose, and Bob and "Al" will surely sense it,  but she just can't seem to shake it. Of course drinking as much coffee as she does is probably not going help the situation now is it?

  1. Coffee is the only way I am making it! I am shaking inside and out! I should leave it alone for sure! Hospice called yesterday. Daddy is showing signs of pre-dying! I am afraid that by the time I get there he will have crossed over! Thank you so much for the prayers!

  2. Couldn't type anymore on that comment. Hope your anxiety gets better as the day progresses. Prayers for you and Bob. Hugs, Karen
