This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.

Living with Bob and Al

Sometimes the hurts just kind of sneak up on Sheri. The song "One Moment in Time " by Whitney Houston, was the song Sheri and Bob used when they wrote their own wedding vows. The song actually played in the background as they read their vows to each other, it was their song. Watching TV the other night the song came on a show, "Al" said this is a nice song, I don't know where I've heard it before, but it is nice. Sheri wept...
