This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri does not understand why sometimes Bob is able to communicate his thought clearly yet other times "Al" speaks and the words are clear, but they don't make sense. Yesterday Bob said "Oh, I did not tell you. The lady, this project (pointing to the folding table), the couch, the cat..... but a.. it can't.
And that was that.
Miss firing brain connectors she supposes :(

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri and Bob climbed into bed last night , and Bob turned to her and said "Did everybody go to bed?" Out of curiosity Sheri said, "Who is everybody?" "Al" replied "I don't know...  I just wondered if they went to bed."
Well... Sheri wanted more conversation :)
