This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob is having a very hard time singing now, Sheri is very thankful she captured this about 2 years ago.
Merry Christmas to all. Click the link.

  1. Dear Sheri,
May God give you peace and blessings in Him this Christmas. It has been so difficult for you this year so just don't put pressure on your self to do or be something that you think others "expect". God will carry you through! Hope you have a relaxing day with your daughters and son-in-laws. Make sure you all sing with the "boys"; I think Christmas music will still be able to seep into Bob's brain and heart. Praying for you in SC.
    Love, Kathryn
