This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob's back has been really bad. He has been jerking forward in pain. So off to the doctor they will go. With Sheri's luck "Al" will tell the doctor his back has been fine and they will get absolutely nowhere with treatment... and this would not be the first time. But Sheri has a plan this morning, she is going to video tape what he goes through with the pain this morning and take it with her this afternoon."Al" will not win this time. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do!
PS. So there you go Bob that is the plan :)
