This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.

Living with Bob and "Al"

While Sheri and Bob were driving around this weekend looking for a place to take pictures, they were on a side road where there was a gas station up ahead. Suddenly a car went speeding past them. Bob became agitated and with a fearful tone in his voice "Al" said " Why do people drive so fast , and by a gas station doesn't he know he is gonna make it blow up?"

A tad to many action movies at the day care I presume? :)

    Yea anything that causes to much stimulation can lead to anxiety, as you already know I am sure. Never thought about things that are watched on the tv causing rationalizations though.
