This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sometimes, this Alzheimer world makes Sheri feel like she is holding on to her faith by a thread. She questions, she doubts, she angers, she cries. Then there is a silence, and in that silence she sees , written on her heart, all the ways God has taken care of her, all the provisions she has been blessed with. Then she becomes angry for a different reason. She becomes angry that she is so weak, that she would doubt there is a plan for her life and that God is in control.

Matthew 17:20

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
