This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character"Al" that I created in 2008 represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Finally a nice weekend in Minnesota. Sheri took Bob and "Al" to a park to take pictures and enjoy the weather. From the look on Bob's face when they got home, they probably did way to much walking. She feels bad that she did not have the wheel chair in the car. It had been replaced with snow shovels and salt for the winter. Well, maybe "work" ( code for Adult Day Center) will be easy on him today. At least she kept him from raking the yard, and Sheri got some good pictures :)

  1. A perfect Spring palette and lovely awakening from a dream-like quality created by the softness.
Hope you, Bob, and "Al" slept peacefully after all the walking exercise!
