This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri and Bob were watching TV yesterday morning, keeping up with the weather for the day, while waiting for Bob's back to be better before his shower. ( It is all about the routine) anyway, a news spot comes on about wide spread flu and how the sale of Clorox disinfectant wipes are up above predictions. The picture they were showing however, was of people blowing their noses. "Al" says " Wow, you can blow your nose with those I did not know that, what a good idea."
This is why Bob and "Al" can not be left alone.  :)
