This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri has decided to look back at 2012 and look only at the way God has blessed her this year.
1.God has blessed her a good job that allows her to support Bob and "Al"
2. God has blessed her a tiny but "doable" house that she rents , after losing hers to foreclosure in 2011.
3. God has blessed her with loving children that in 2012 matured and supported her emotionally, in every way they can.
4. God has blessed her with a church family that embraces her and 2012 helped her develop some new friendships.
5.God has blessed her with improvements to her mothers health, a true miracle indeed.
6. God has blessed her with providing inner strength.
7. God has blessed her with revealing that "things" don't make Sheri happy, allowing her to declutter her life ( some what, still working on this one :)
8. God has blessed her with this blog and all of her cyber friends, because with this blog Sheri knows she is not alone living this Alzheimer life, there are others living it right along with her.

Happy New Year! Thank you so much for Reading!
