This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri and Bob were watching a show called "Minute to Win It." It is a game that always builds a lot of suspense around the game. The players get tense as the clock counts down out loud. Bob was watching intensely, jaw clenched tight to one side waiting to see if the young players would win $500,000 dollars, the show suddenly breaks to commercial. "Al" with major frustration and disgust on his face turns to Sheri and flipping his hand up in the air says " Great, now I image they are gonna keep playing that game and we won't know if they win."  :)
Oy Vey..
