This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al'

Sheri is focusing on making family memories again this year. For Alzheimer families there is this constant feeling of this may be the "last" so make it worth it with memories. The fact is this could be true for everyone Alzheimer's or not so each of us should remember to cherish each day as if it were the last.

  1 John 4:16
“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.”(NIV)
