This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al".

Bob has been whistling the same short phrase of "To God be the Glory" for about 5 days now. Although Sheri loves that song, she would have to be honest and say it's getting slightly annoying. So Sheri asked Bob if maybe he knew the rest of the song. "Al" replied "what song?"   :)

  1. I hate it when a song gets stuck in my head, but I don't mind it so much when it's a hymn. Reminds me also of when my children practice a song on the piano for a couple of months. That can drive me crazy. To God Be The Glory anyway, Sheri.
