Sheri has been filled with anxiety lately. In most cases it not for herself but friends and loved ones around her that are suffering, and right now there seem to many. Daughter number 2 (the one who shields her heart with her sleeve) posted this quote on her face book page yesterday, after finding out the love of her life is leaving for Marine boot camp in ten days. Sheri is re posting it, in hopes that it will spark a flame of faith in others the way it did for her this morning when she read it.
“Every tomorrow has two handles. We can take hold of it with the handle of anxiety or the handle of faith.” -- Henry Ward Beecher
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.
