This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Well Sheri stepped way out of her comfort zone today! Below is a link to an article that Sheri wrote for a web site called The Caregivers Voice. The web site offers a wealth of knowledge and support to people like Sheri caregivers.
Sheri is sharing in hopes of helping someone else who might feel like they are alone on this journey, feel free to share it with others if you would like.  :)

  1. Going beyond your comfort zone, and doing a wonderful job. I enjoyed your article, and the pictures of the two of you. You, have an amazing smile, but even a bigger heart. I pray your words may continue to encourage, and help other as you share your journey. Thank you for being willing to do this. Sue
