This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri is trying hard to accept a new normal. She will look for the positive in every breathe God gives her. Life is too short.

  1. My heart breaks for all of you, while at the same time is so encouraged that despite all, God is with us, never forgets us and when He is truly in our hearts we do not forget Him. What a beautiful testimony to the love and faithfulness of God, ingrained so deeply in one of His children that when nothing else can be remembered or spoken, praises to our God still come forth. God bless you all. Thank you for sharing
