This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri had a dream about a simpler time. It was a time when Bob could do anything. He was a fixer and a builder. If Sheri wanted a shelf, he built it. If she wanted a fence he built it. Serving was definitely his love language. Sheri does not think she recognized that then. 
Isaiah 43:18-19
 18 “Forget the former things;  do not dwell on the past.19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness  and streams in the wasteland.
