This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri loves the fall, but right after fall the winter in what she calls the frozen tundra won't be far behind. She is hoping the new apartment with it's bright windows and open floor plan will help Sheri this year, but the holidays bring it's own set of challenges with Bob and "Al". Sheri is determined to focus on the joy of the upcoming wedding of Daughter Number One, and to remember to live one moment at a time.
God is good.
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
