This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri needs to remind herself that living in the moment is all any of us have. She has to keep asking herself  "am I enjoying living each day the best I can in the present circumstances of my life?" To often she is not. Too much time spend frustrated by others whom she can not change, rather than seeing how she might be able to change her own behavior. Today she will start anew, trying to look for the good in her life and in others. Maybe like "Al" she should be whistling "to  God be Glory " right now.
Sheri needs to pause, praise and pray.
