This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri has noticed that her heart feels very heavy, but her busy life does not even allow her private time to cry. (Or do the dishes.)

  1. Dear Sheri,
Praying for you today as I do many days...have never commented but may email you separately. Today was my sweet mother's St. Patrick's day birthday so we all wear green (she had beautiful green eyes!). She had Alz. and went home to be with the Lord June 2013. I am no longer in the caregiving phase but still identify (I have teenagers now:) Your PAUSE, PRAISE, PRAY has helped me many times. Love & prayers, Kathryn Z.
