This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

"Al" woke up way to early this morning, So Sheri put Bob in the car and went off to find God's glory in the early fall morning. It was just what she needed. God is good.

  1. Any kind of disease can be tough on a person. But having seen first hand how hard it can be to have a loved one loose their memory is very hard. This diseases can often take much away, the best thing is to remember that the disease alters the way they think and if the do irrational things it is not their fault.
