This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri had to take Bob to start the second round of injections yesterday. "Al" was very upset that Sheri was picking him up early. "Work" (code for Adult Day Center ) was having an awards program, and he did not want to miss it. "Al" was so disappointing he talked about it ALL afternoon. over and over and over again.
Sheri hated he was that upset, but she is so pleased he is happy at  "The Circle"  :)

It wasn't clear to me which site is for Bob/Al. I would guess the one on the West side but all look great.
