This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri found the most recent cat laser toy in the bathroom with the top unscrewed and the batteries out. Sheri should have known better then to ask Bob what happened to it. "Al" said "Zoey" the cat did it. :)

  1. Sheri, please remember me and my family in prayer. My dad is in the final stages of Alzheimer's. Both of my parents are now living in assisted living since dad is so bad! I am flying down for thanksgiving but are not sure he will be alive. Thanks for the prayers. You prayed for us before. I still read daily and pray for you and Bob and your daughters. Hugs, Karen
