This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri is seeing more and more that Bob's mood just mimic's her own. His demeanor will change from one second to the next with hers. You would think Sheri would take away from that the obvious,  if she is happy Bob and "Al" will be happy. Now she just needs to convince her heart to be happy.

  1. I understand Sheri. Sometimes it can be so exhausting emotionally to put that smile on our face and pretend our heart is not breaking. It is wearing to feel responsible for our hubby's happiness.
