This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri was sorting through some old wedding memorabilia looking for something for daughter number 2 who's wedding is fast approaching, and came across a card from Bob she hasn't seen in 24 years,(yes she is a pack rat) written about 2 or 3 weeks after they got married. In it were all the words she longs to hear Bob say. Sheri's heart was happy for a moment, and then the tears came. But she is thankful to have it because these are the words she going to read over and over again giving the repetition in her life a new meaning.
God is good, all the time.
