This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob was looking for the cat laser toy. He was frustrated he could not find it. Sheri looked up and said "try looking in the tissue box." Bob with a look of doubt on his face said " In the tissue box? Why would it be there?" She held her tongue while he searched the box. Retrieving the laser toy Bob said " Well that is a silly place for the toy, who put it there?" Sheri chuckled to herself but ignored Bob's question and said "So did you have a new people to train at work today?"    :)
