This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob is frustrated at "work" (code for Adult Day Center) "Al" still feels like there is still too much laughing and fooling around going on there, it is distracting him from getting his "work" done. :)

  1. Dear Sheri, I discovered your blog Sunday and you provided me untold support as I am living this disease with my husband, Bob, and it will help to remember that the interloper "Al" is slowly taking over. I also am touched that you are connected to me in faith through your bible passages which are so rich. Thanks and prayers, ALD
