This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al'

Bob is frustrated that they have not had choir at "work" in a very long time. Which of course is not true... but she can not convince "them" of that. Sheri is still just very happy that "Al" does not question why there is a choir at work. Now that she thinks about it, we may all be better off if we had a choir at work. :)

  1. My husband use to play in a big band / swing band that was hosted by his company. It was all volunteer. They would play at parks and outdoor venues in the summer.
Yes, there should be more music!
