This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri is going to have to change something about Bob and Al's morning routine. Clean, shall we say...clothing items ( wink, wink) laid out for him, are gathering dust in the bathroom. Eek  :(

  1. My friend and I, who both have mothers with dementia, were discussing clothing issues. We then laughed and promised each other that we will tell the other's children: that we'd really be happier not wearing a bra! If and when our children are the ones who have to dress us. You gotta laugh - or else you'll cry.
