This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri's heart is hurting today for Bob and "Al." No particular reason, it just is.

1 Peter 5:6-7 (KJV) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

  1. The other day my husband and I went to a movie. In the lobby we saw a poster for the movie Lincoln which we'd seen a couple of weeks before. He said "that looks like it would be a good movie for us to see". He didn't remember anything about it. It's things like that that hurt my heart!
