This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob's bath robe has gone missing now for a week. She has said it before but she JUST DOES NOT GET IT! This small house she rented is so small (everybody yell now HOW SMALL IS IT!) it is so small you can stand in the hall and see into all four rooms! She has looked everywhere for it, she even stooped to so low as to ask "Meeko" the cat if she had seen it. Meeko the cat said " no, but since you are down here you may want to check the cabinet under the sink because from time to time I find some pretty good left overs in there."
Great now Sheri is hearing the cat talk...  :)
(told you I was desperate for conversation)
