Sheri got the knock on the door she has been waiting for last night. The sheriffs office delivering the notice of when the sheriffs sale of her house will be. She hid the papers from Bob and "Al". Sheri's heart hurts.
Matthew 6:19
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Sheri, I am so sorry this is happening. Praying for you and Bob.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry this is happening. Mom's house was auctioned off five years ago. This is indeed a profound loss. We are still here, in a different way. Our tears mingle with yours.
