This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al
Sheri took Bob out to find more things to take pictures of this weekend. Sheri went to little towns they had not been to before. Everywhere they went "Al" would say he had been there before. He would say "this is where I chased Blacky around the block (Sheri doesn't know who Blacky is) or I delivered a grill out here once." Sheri just agreed with him. She knows he hadn't been to those places, but "Al" thinks he has, and when you get right down to it, it doesn't really matter now... does it?
