This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al

Well, Sheri had a blessing
of having her job extended by  2 or 3 weeks
Thank you Lord.
She is on vacation this week
and as it turns out that is a major blessing as well
because Bob and "Al" slipped on the ice
and fell...last night coming back from
the Thanksgiving service at church.
"They" are in pretty rough shape
but it doesn't apear as though they broke anything
Thank you again Lord.
So Sheri will spend her vaction nursing "them" back to health
Well she guesses that is better then having to take time off without notice.
