This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and Al :)

Bob and "Al" are feeling well
(Except for the knee, it has begun to swell)

"Al" says "there is no pain at all"
Bob's face however, says it all

Sheri is not quite sure right now
How to keep "them" sitting down

She tried the push pin trick again...
But  "they" said no "they"are on the mend

Ready to mow the lawn "they" think
And fix the leak in the kitchen sink

Ready to fix that light in the hall
Ready to fix the crack in the wall

Ready to do all these things "they" said
Sheri is sooooo grateful it is time for bed   :)
