Today Sheri made a pumpkin pie
Sheri needed to run to the store so
she gave the timer to Bob and asked him
to take the pie out of the oven when the timer went off
Sheri stepped out of the room and back in and asked
"Bob what is the timer for?"
he said "to know when to take the pie out of the oven"
"Great "she thought "he has got it"
"Okay then "Sheri said" I am running to the store"
"Oh "Al said " Wait a minute I will come with you"
Okay... maybe she won't go to the store :)
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.
