This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri hates this disease, each change, each loss, she HATES it.  When she went to see "the boys" this weekend "they" were sitting on a couch with one shoe and sock on, and one shoe and sock off. The shoe that was on.. was on the wrong foot. Apparently, much like his glasses that he can no longer wear ("Al breaks them in a matter of a day or two) "Al" will no longer leave Bob's shoes and socks on and removes them repeatedly with in minutes. :(
Sheri needs to Pause, Praise and Pray.

  1. Still praying for you, dear friend up north! It is so hard to watch the downhill trajectory of AZ.

Your photo in the previous post was so pretty and was also glad to hear your sweet doggie was still with you.

The Lord sees and knows; he is with you and has not forgotten you. He will uphold you and has not forgotten Bob either.

    Love from SC, Kathryn ❤
