This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character"Al" that I created in 2008 represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Well it is January again. Sheri does not make resolutions. Not that there aren't things she needs to change about herself, there are ... but Webster defines a  resolution in two ways
 1. A firm decision to do or not to do something.
2. The action of solving a problem, dispute, or contentious matter.

Neither of these seem attainable right now, maybe next year.
Sheri needs to pause, praise and pray.

  1. Hi's been a while since I've commented..I'm on a journey of my own w/husband of 50 years. But you've done so much especially getting Bob in a safe setting. Any chance of you getting away? I'll be bold and suggest a trip to the Grand Canyon! For some, it's a religious experience. But for a photographer like yourself it would be Heaven. Check AAA for economic trips. Just the planning is a joy. Your girls will visit and you'll only be gone for a week or so. Be well. Marie
