This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character"Al" that I created in 2008 represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri manages an apartment community of almost 200 homes, over half of which are 1 bedrooms. She looks around everyday and sees adults living alone. She often wonders why people hesitate to connect any more. Most of the people she is referring to are older than herself, (some of which really should not be living alone.) Life is so short, she wonders if they too are missing conversation and a good laugh now and then. Sheri is just thinking out loud. :)

  1. Quite amazing how many people live alone. We are such social creatures yet so many of us have a hard time living with others on an intimate level.
