This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri is has spoken to 3 people at Bob's new home. All three of them indicated that it was the  hospitals responsibility to provide any needed care to "the boys" such has staying with him for that emergency room visit, they told the ambulance driver he" came out of memory care." They all indicate the emergency room nurses shroud be capable of handling this. Sheri thinks there is way more to do around this subject.

  1. How long was he left alone? Did you vote for Trump? If so do not complain. He was not in imminent danger as some people's conditions are in the ER.
