This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

It is 6:00 am and "Al" is slapping away. Heavy sigh... Sheri needs a THREE day plan, day one is accounted for  so 1 down two to go :)

  1. Hi, Sheri, Has Bob ever had any Legos to work with on his tray? Just a thought for the 3 day weekend...love & prayers, Kathryn Z.

    1. Good idea Kathryn. I tried them a long time ago, but it may be time to try again. He always needs a purpose to what he thinks he is doing so since he can not conceptualize an end product they did not work last time, but he mat be past that now :)
