This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri was so touched to receive so many condolence cards about her Mom's, passing.  One of the cards was from some dear friends Sheri has never met. They were friends with Bob in high school. Sheri and Bob met and married when he was 45 so she really did not know much about him in his youth, these dear friends included some pictures they had of Bob, quite a handsome fellow. This really made me smile, Thank you for sharing Janet and Jim. :)

Pardon the white blob, did not want others names to appear with out their permission :)
