This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri is frustrated that Bob will not stay in bed in the morning without Sheri there. She so needs that little bit of time with her coffee and her kitties. That is her regroup for the day time. :(

  1. oh Sheri I know what you mean- I needed that time every day !! Norm just went into the hospital - a good one here in Phoenix that has a behavioral health floor- he kind of changed over night and became almost Manic- that is better on new meds but they are advising that I not bring him home but place him. So much to do in so little time-- Fortunately I had done some leg work and have others in my group that have had to do the same thing so that helps a lot-- Try to do some looking into places so when the time comes you are not doing it under pressure Love & Prayers to you
